Reynolds Arcade is a classic art deco building located in the center of Rochester's Four Corners Business District. This historical building's amenities include a restaurant, legal recording services, jewelry store, barber shop and bank. It is located within close proximity to City Hall, Rochester Riverside Convention Center and many restaurants and theaters. The building also has direct in-building access to the Crossroads municipal garage and the First Federal Building.

Building History:
In 1812 Abelard Reynolds erected a frame dwelling on this site, the tract of land then known as Rochesterville. After the War of 1812, General Scott and staff were entertained at the hostelry opened by Mr. Reynolds. In 1828 Mr. Reynolds erected the Arcade, then the finest building in Western New York State.

History of the Four Corners Area:
The Four Corners are formed by the intersection of West Main and State Street and represent the center for much of Rochester's legal and governmental action. Elaborate ninetheenth century office buildings and municipal halls vie with modern courthouses and the amazing Deco winged summit of the Times Square Building. In the Four Corners, you can walk along the river or catch a summer lunchtime concert, marvel at the soaring marble atrium of the County Office Building or catch professional sports at the Blue Cross Arena.
